In my first overseas sojourn for 2008, my dear friends Libby O’Donovan, Johnanna Allen and I are taking the cabaret show Flat on your Bacharach to the Hong Kong Fringe Club with performances Jan 10-13 at 9.30pm.
It will be the first time we have taken the show overseas in quite a while. The first time we took the show out of Australia was actually to perform in Vancouver at a very fancy 40th Birthday Celebration.
It will also be the first time we have performed the show with Johanna. A long time friend of Flat on your Bacharach, Jo often performs with ‘Gentlemen Prefer Curves’ among other shows and will take the place of Melissa McCaig for this trip as Mel prepares for performances at the Edinburgh Tattoo.
It will be my first time in Hong Kong – and I can’t wait. For any of you in Hong Kong or who have friends there, bookings can be made via the Fringe Club website.
