This afternoon I met with director and father-to-be David Mealor in preparation for beginning rehearsals of the musical Assassins on Monday morning. We first talked about the project 18 months ago so it’s been quite a while in the gestation and I can’t wait to begin work! David has assembled an awesome array of Adelaide’s top shelf actors. It’s a great show and I think that we’re going to have a ball and learn a lot in the process.
If giving birth to a new production wasn’t enough, David and his wife Susie are expecting the birth of their first-born in the next two weeks. The best advice I can offer is that he gets as much sleep as he can in NOW!
